Gear Bearing

Body

This is a very cool 'print in place' gear bearing designed by emmett. It is a planetary gear with herringbone gears. The only way to produce this is with a 3D printer. It's very cool, the gears can't fall out because of the 45 degree angle of the gear's teeth. The designer emmett has a youtube video which shows you how it works http://youtu.be/ZghwSBiM0sU. This is one of my favorite toy prints, that could have some practical use too.

Dump Truck

Body

My son loves trucks and tractors. I found this pretty cool print in place Tiny Toy Dump Truck by madscifi. I added his name to the side of the bed using Tinkercad. I printed 4 of these now. 2 black and 2 gray. 1 of the gray ones broke, that's why I printed another. That is one of the coolest things about 3D printing, you can always print another. When things are customized like that, it's hard to estimate the value. I still put this at $1

Halloween bookmark

Body

This is a very fast print. My son and I read 2 stories every night. Now that we're getting into some rather large books, he loves bookmarks. During Halloween I printed this bookmark. He liked it. I prefer a paper bookmark. I don't like the tab. It works ok, but I think I'll try to make my own design in the future.

v29 whistle - very loud

My son wanted to be able to whistle for our dog, he is too young to really be able to physically. So I built this whistle. It is very loud so it is an outside toy only now :).

pretend flip phone

Body

My son really wanted a pretend flip phone like his grandma has. Odd thing to want, considering all of the cool toys he has. But I figured I'd take a look on thingiverse and see what I could find that looked anything that resembled a flip phone, and figured a 3 year olds imagination could take care of the rest. What I found was a pretty awesome embossing tool - Customizable Embossing Stamp by someandy

Toy Train Set by sconine

Body

My son loves his wooden train set. These trains fit on those tracks perfectly. I have built a few of these. I was going to build more items from that thingiverse page, but my son really loved the cart by itself so I printed a few different colors. I will be building more of these soon.

Small ring

Body

This was a design for my son originally. He wanted a ring since I wear a wedding ring. Then after I built his. My wife has wanted one in every color filament that I get. So I have printed about 40 or maybe more of these rings or similar rings. These are my own design using fusion 360. I haven't posted them on thingiverse or anywhere because there is nothing to them. Anyone can design them. They are literally just a circle that's been extruded with some fillets and whatever size they ask for.
